TinJToo Auto Repair is a locally owned repair shop at 170 County Hwy M in Star Prairie, Wisconsin. We opened here in 2022, and since then we have looked after cars, SUVs, minivans and pickup trucks for neighbors in Star Prairie, New Richmond, Somerset and across the St. Croix Valley.
We are a small, owner-run shop, and when you call, you talk to people who know your vehicle.
Who owns TinJToo Auto Repair?
Owner Jarred Berhow is ASE Master Certified and a graduate of Dunwoody College of Technology. A St. Croix Valley native, he started out as a mobile mechanic with nothing but a jack and a jack stand, and that work grew into the Star Prairie shop you can visit today.

The list is sorted so you can see what needs attention now and what can wait, and nothing gets repaired until you approve it.

Tricky problems are where we earn our keep, and our check engine light diagnostics often find issues that were missed elsewhere. Our name honors the original Tinj business started by Jarred’s father, and our story tells what it stands for and how the shop began. TinJToo Auto Repair handles everything from oil changes to engine swaps
We work on Asian and domestic cars, SUVs and minivans from 1996 and newer, plus pickups up to 1-ton, from half-tons through 1-ton crew cabs. Our full list of services covers oil changes and maintenance, brake repair, suspension and steering, heating and AC, transmissions and engine repair, even complete engine swaps when repair no longer makes sense.
On any given day you might see a Toyota RAV4, a Subaru Outback, a Ram 1500 and a Dodge Grand Caravan in our bays.
